On a $10,000 account that means:

Leverage up to 1:10, isolated margin only.

Long and short on every market, and hedging a long and a short on the same market is allowed.

Daily drawdown of 5% of the day’s starting balance, $500 on a day that starts at $10,000, and a fixed maximum drawdown floor at $9,000. Equity is watched, not only closed trades.

Targets of 10% in stage 1 and 8% in stage 2, with at least 5 trading days in each. A trading day needs a closed position with at least $25 of profit or loss.

In the challenge stages, a single position that makes more than 60% of the stage target, $600 in stage 1, does not count toward it.

The full path from stage 1 to a withdrawal, with each of these in dollars, is in the crypto prop firm walkthrough.

What moves gold, oil and stocks

Coins react to crypto headlines. These markets answer to other news, and knowing which releases matter tells you when to trade smaller or stay out.

Gold and silver

Gold tends to react to the US dollar, interest-rate expectations, inflation data and geopolitical stress. Silver and the other metals often respond to the same headlines, which matters later when you size positions.

Crude oil and natural gas

Oil reacts to supply decisions such as those of OPEC+, to inventory data and to the outlook for demand. A single supply announcement can reprice it in minutes, so treat those dates the way you would treat a big crypto unlock.

Stocks and ETFs

Stocks move on earnings, guidance, sector news and the direction of the broad index. A chip stock can jump on a rival’s results, and SPY or QQQ can pull most single names along on a strong macro day.

News trading is allowed on Fundex24. The catch is the spike: big scheduled releases can move price sharply within minutes, and a stop placed too tight gets hit before the real move starts. Trading news on a funded account goes deeper into that.

Sizing the same $50 risk on gold and on a stock

Position size comes from two numbers: the dollars you are willing to lose and the distance to your stop. On a $10,000 account, a $50 risk is 0.5%.

Say your gold setup needs a stop 1% away. $50 divided by 1% gives a $5,000 position, which at 1:10 ties up $500 of margin. A single stock often needs more room around earnings or sector news, so suppose the NVDA stop sits 4% away: $50 divided by 4% gives a $1,250 position and $125 of margin. If either stop is hit, you lose the same $50.

The wider the stop, the smaller the position for the same dollar risk.

The stop distance also changes how quickly a trade counts as a trading day. The $25 minimum takes a 0.5% move on the $5,000 gold position but a 2% move on the $1,250 stock position. Closing the stock trade early for $8 will not add a day.

Mixing crypto, gold and stocks without stacking risk

Trading several market types can spread risk, because gold, oil and a tech stock do not always move together. It only works if the positions are actually different bets.

Correlated positions behave like one bigger position against the daily limit. A long on gold and a long on silver, each with $50 at risk, is closer to one $100 bet on metals. Longs on NVDA, AMD and the SMH chip ETF are one bet on chips. On a day that starts at $10,000, the daily limit is $500, and a sharp move against one theme can pull all of those trades down at the same moment.

On the funded account there is one more reason to count carefully: the total risk to the stops of all open positions is capped at 3% of the account, $300 on $10,000, and the platform will not open a new position that would take the total above that cap. Six $50 positions reach it whether they are six coins or a mix of gold, oil and stocks.

A five-step routine for your first non-crypto trade

Find the market in the Stocks, ETFs or Commodities tab.

Check what moves it this week: a data release, an earnings date or a supply meeting.

Decide the dollar risk first, for example $50, and the stop distance your setup needs.

Work out the position size and set the stop with the order.

Trade it, then log the result next to your crypto trades so you can compare.

The same routine works for XAU, CL, NVDA or SPY.

If you do not have a challenge yet, the plans are on the challenges page, and the challenge discount code takes 10% off the fee.
