IPO watch
There is no Anthropic stock to buy yet. Anthropic, the company behind the Claude AI models, is private: no ticker, no exchange listing, no IPO price. According to reports it has confidentially filed for an IPO and is eyeing a possible listing window in November 2026, but as of mid-October the date, price and ticker are all unconfirmed. What trades right now is ANTHROPIC/USDT, a pre-IPO perpetual contract that has followed a market price for Anthropic since June 2. It is not a share, and the way it behaves around a listing is what catches traders out.
Where the Anthropic IPO stands in mid-October 2026
Here is the state of play. According to reports, Anthropic confidentially submitted a draft registration statement (an S-1) to the SEC on June 1, 2026. Press reports have since pointed to a listing window in November. No public filing with a share count or a price range had appeared by mid-October, and no exchange or ticker has been confirmed by the company.
On valuation, the last private number is from May: Anthropic was reported to have raised $65 billion in a Series H round at a $965 billion post-money valuation. Amazon and Alphabet are among its large investors, so their shares carry a slice of Anthropic’s value, but only a slice next to their own businesses.
So when you search “Anthropic stock price” and see a number, it is one of two things: that private-round figure, or the price of the contract below.
ANTHROPIC/USDT: what the contract tracks
Binance listed ANTHROPICUSDT on June 2, 2026, as part of its pre-IPO perpetuals, futures on big names that haven’t gone public yet. It is settled in USDT and trades 24/7. Binance benchmarks it on an estimated 1 billion Anthropic shares, so the price times 1 billion is the company value the market is paying for. At about 2,000 USDT at the time of writing (mid-October 2026), that is roughly $2 trillion, a little over twice the reported May round.
Until Anthropic lists, nothing outside Binance feeds this price. The reference comes from the contract’s own recent trades, averaged, and it is only allowed to move so far each second. What you see is one venue’s running guess at what Anthropic is worth.
Buying ANTHROPIC/USDT does not make you an Anthropic shareholder. You get no ownership, no vote and no claim on the company. Anthropic has no part in the contract and does not issue, sponsor or endorse it. You are trading a price, long or short.

On Fundex24 it is listed under Stocks, with prices that follow Binance futures, and you can open it from any challenge or funded account on the ANTHROPIC/USDT trade page.
What a pre-IPO contract does around a listing
The contract is designed to stop being “pre-IPO” at some point, and Binance has laid out both endings. A listing hands it over to the real share price, possibly as a regular stock perpetual. A postponed or cancelled IPO ends in a delisting announced in advance, with open positions settled.

There is already one precedent. Binance’s first pre-IPO contract tracked SpaceX, which listed on Nasdaq on June 12, 2026. In its note on the SpaceX switch, Binance says it moved that contract to a standard perpetual after the listing, and before that rebased it when an amended filing showed more shares than its estimate. The lesson for Anthropic: the 1 billion figure is an assumption, and if the real share count differs, what the price means can change.

The bigger risk is the gap between two numbers. The contract is pricing Anthropic near $2 trillion; the IPO will set its own price. When the contract switches over, it has to close that gap, and nothing says it will do so slowly. A stop doesn’t solve this, because it can only fill where the price actually trades, and in a jump that may be well past your level.
Anthropic’s price since June: quiet, then sudden
The contract opened at 1,780 on June 2 and drifted lower into the summer. On July 20 it fell 10.2% in a day, touching a low of 1,351, then jumped 9.2% the next day. In mid-August it stepped up again: from about 1,455 on August 10 to 1,965 on August 25, a 35% climb in just over two weeks. The widest single day, August 15, covered 12.8% from low to high. The high so far is 2,228 on September 9; over the last 30 days it is down 3.2%.

Look at the shape rather than the level. The average daily range over the last 60 days was 3.2%, calmer than OpenAI’s contract, and only 7 of those 60 days had a high-to-low range of 5% or more. Most of the time ANTHROPIC is quiet. Then it suddenly covers 10% or more in a single day, as it did in late July and again on August 15. A listing is exactly the kind of event that can produce a day like that.
Event risk: sizing ANTHROPIC before a listing
On the $3,000 challenge you can lose at most $150 in a day and $300 in total. Both limits are measured on equity, so an open position that dips through the line ends the account even if the price recovers an hour later. With an event ahead, that changes how you size.
Take two ways to trade the same contract:
- Everyday size: risk $45 with a stop 4% away, just outside the 3.2% average day. That is a $1,125 position. A repeat of the 12.8% day costs about $144, only $6 short of the daily limit. A jump twice the size of the worst day so far, roughly 20%, would cost $225: through the daily line and most of the way to the $300 maximum.
- Event size: risk $30 with a stop 8% away, two and a half times the average day. That is a $375 position, with $37.50 of margin at 1:10 or $75 at the 5x the trade page preselects. The 12.8% day costs $48; the same 20% jump costs $75, half the daily limit.

The 20% jump is a stress test, not a prediction. The point is simple: before a listing, hold only what you could keep through a jump you can’t stop out of, or be flat.
Don’t size up to chase the listing-day move either; a profit that big wouldn’t help. In Step 1 the target is $300, and a trade that earns $180 or more on its own, 60% of the target, is excluded from it. A windfall on a big position wouldn’t move you closer to passing; steady trades over at least five valid trading days do. Anthropic and OpenAI on the same screen
The two pre-IPO contracts sit next to each other in the Stocks list, and they behave differently. Over the last 60 days OPENAI averaged a 4.5% daily range against ANTHROPIC’s 3.2%. Over 30 days OPENAI is up 19.2% while ANTHROPIC is down 3.2%. By the 1-billion-share math, the market prices OpenAI near $1.6 trillion and Anthropic near $2 trillion.
Their calendars differ too. Reports put Anthropic’s possible listing window in November 2026, while OpenAI’s CFO reportedly told staff it would go public in 2027. If you trade both, check which one has news due before sizing, whether it’s ANTHROPIC or the OPENAI/USDT contract next to it. Positions in both count against the same loss limits on one account, as our piece on daily drawdown vs max loss explains.
A low-cost way to try it
You don’t need to put real money on an IPO guess to learn how this contract moves. A free practice account gives you $10,000 of virtual money for three days, leverage up to 1:10, and the same ANTHROPIC chart.
After that, a challenge caps your cost at the fee: $29 for the $3,000 account, or less with the blog code PROPOFF10 (10% off the $3,000, $6,000 and $10,000 plans, once per user). You can compare the challenge sizes before you pick one. Be realistic about the odds, too: the majority of challenge buyers fail. Passing leads to a simulated funded account, where the profit split is 80% in the trader’s favor. If anything in the rules is unclear, ask in support chat.

Questions people ask about Anthropic stock
When is the Anthropic IPO?
No date has been confirmed. Reports in the fall of 2026 pointed to a possible listing window in November, after a confidential filing in June.
Does Anthropic have a stock symbol yet?
No. A symbol comes with a listing, and Anthropic has not announced an exchange or ticker. ANTHROPIC/USDT is a contract name on a crypto exchange.
Is ANTHROPIC/USDT the same as owning Anthropic shares?
No. It follows a price for Anthropic, but it carries no ownership, no vote and no claim on the company, and Anthropic does not endorse it.
What happens to an open ANTHROPIC position when the company lists?
Per Binance, it switches to tracking the real share, possibly as a regular stock perpetual. That handover is where the price can jump, so keep any position small enough to ride it out.
Why is the contract’s implied value so far above the last funding round?
Because traders set it, not the company. It reflects what buyers and sellers on one exchange expect Anthropic to be worth, and Binance warns it may differ from any IPO price.
Can I trade the Anthropic contract on weekends?
Yes. It trades 24/7, so you can open or close it on a Saturday night; the loss limits keep running the whole time.
