Fundex24 trader data
The best crypto to trade with small capital is not the one that might rise the most; it is the one you can size so a normal day cannot knock you out. For most traders that means Bitcoin, Ethereum and Solana for steady practice, gold for calmer days, and meme coins like DOGE or USELESS only with small positions. That is also roughly what Fundex24 traders actually do, as the numbers below show.
Best crypto to trade with small capital: the short answer
With a small account, every coin comes down to one question: how far does it move on an ordinary day, compared with how much you can afford to lose? A coin that moves 3% a day lets you hold a reasonable position and still sleep. A coin that moves 23% a day forces you to trade tiny or get wiped out.
So the “best” coin is the one whose daily movement fits your loss limit. On a $3,000 challenge account, that limit is $150 a day and $300 in total. Keep those two numbers in mind; everything else in this guide is built around them.
What Fundex24 traders actually trade
We looked at every active trading account on Fundex24 over the last 45 days and asked a simple question: what share of them traded each market at least once? The leaders are not exotic.

Bitcoin was traded by 76% of active accounts, Ethereum by 62% and Solana by 49%. Chainlink (39%), gold (36%), XRP (35%) and BNB (33%) complete the list. Meme coins are popular too, but most traders use them as a side dish, not the main course.
The meme coin top 10 on Fundex24
Ranked by number of positions over the same 45 days, these are the meme coins Fundex24 traders opened most often:
- MARSCOIN, a new listing whose first weeks we covered in our MARSCOIN listing study
- USELESS, the Solana coin that brands itself as having no use
- DOGE, the original meme coin
- PUMP, the token of the pump.fun launchpad
- TUT (Tutorial), explained in our guide to the TUT meme coin
- PENGU
- BULLA
- BROCCOLI714
- PEPE
- WIF
A high rank means many positions, not many winners. Fast coins attract frequent trading because they move, and that same movement is why they deserve the smallest sizes.
What an average day does to a $1,000 position
Here is the gap between the daily high and low, averaged over the 30 days to October 2, 2026, on Binance futures prices, turned into dollars for a $1,000 position:
Create your Fundex24 account
Takes a few seconds. You can pick a challenge and add your phone number later.
- Gold (XAU): about 1.6%, or $16
- Bitcoin: about 2.9%, or $29
- Ethereum: about 3.8%, or $38
- Solana: about 4.8%, or $48
- Dogecoin: about 6.4%, or $64
- USELESS: about 23%, or $234
Read the last line twice. A $1,000 USELESS position can swing more than the entire $150 daily limit of a $3,000 account on an average day. The same $1,000 in Bitcoin barely dents it. Neither coin is “better” in the abstract; they simply need very different sizes. You can compare the live SOL/USDT chart and DOGE/USDT chart to see the difference in rhythm.
Same risk, different sizes: the small-capital rule
The way professionals handle this is to fix the risk, not the size. Decide how much one losing trade may cost, say $30 or 1% of a $3,000 account, then let the stop distance set the position:
- Bitcoin with a stop 1.5% away: a $2,000 position risks $30.
- Solana with a stop 3% away: $1,000 risks $30.
- Dogecoin with a stop 4% away: $750 risks $30.
- USELESS with a stop 10% away: $300 risks $30.
Each trade costs the same if it fails. Five losers in a row would cost $150, the whole daily limit, which is why many traders cap themselves at three attempts a day. Our article on how much to risk per trade goes into the reasoning.
One more rule to keep in mind on the upside: during a challenge, a single trade that makes 60% or more of the stage’s target does not count toward it. On $3,000 in Step 1, that is $180. Profit from a trade held under 5 minutes does not count either.
A decision guide: four baskets for a small account
Put the data together and you get a simple way to choose, depending on what you are trying to do this week.

If you are new, spend most of your trades on Bitcoin and Ethereum, where a normal day is unlikely to break anything and you can learn to hold positions properly. Add Solana, Chainlink or DOGE once your stops are consistent. Use gold when crypto is quiet or when you want a market driven by different news. Keep meme coins for a small slice of your risk, sized from the stop as shown above. For a deeper look at pairs, see the best crypto pairs for prop trading.
Starting from $0 instead of small capital
If your capital is not small but zero, there is a free first step. Create a Fundex24 account and you can open a practice account: $10,000 of virtual money, leverage up to 1:10, for 3 days. Try the four sizes above on real prices before paying anything.
The next step is the $3,000 challenge for $29 ($26.10 with the code PROPOFF10). The other sizes, up to $20,000, are listed with the challenge prices. The three routes to trading without capital compare this with other options.
Most people who buy a challenge do not pass it. Funded accounts are simulated, with an 80% profit split on qualifying profit, and nothing here is a promise of income. Pay only what you can afford to lose, and check the rules that apply where you live.

Questions about trading with small capital
Is Bitcoin too expensive to trade with a small account?
No. You trade a position size in dollars, not whole coins, so a $500 or $2,000 BTC position is just as possible as one in DOGE. The unit price does not matter; the daily move does.
Which meme coin is most popular among Fundex24 traders?
By number of positions over the last 45 days, MARSCOIN ranked first, followed by USELESS and DOGE.
Why is gold on a crypto list?
Gold (XAU) is tradable on the same Fundex24 accounts, and 36% of active accounts traded it in the last 45 days. Its average day moved about 1.6%, which suits careful sizing.
Should a beginner start with meme coins?
Usually not. Their daily swings are several times larger than Bitcoin’s, so a beginner’s normal position size can break a daily limit in hours. Learn on calmer markets first.
How much should I risk per trade on a $3,000 account?
Many traders use about 1%, or $30. That allows several losing trades before the $150 daily limit comes into view.
